The other day, I had the honor of photographing one of the most touching moments — a marriage proposal at Alki Point Lighthouse in Seattle. This couple came all the way from sunny California to visit their friends, and for the future bride, the proposal was a complete surprise!
The groom-to-be and I planned everything in advance: I pretended to be a casual passerby, photographing the lighthouse and the scenery. To make it even more natural, I brought my wife along — she absolutely loves witnessing such heartfelt moments.
When the big moment arrived, everything came together perfectly: the ocean, the lighthouse, and the couple, radiating pure emotions and love. It wasn’t just beautiful; it was magical.
