Proposal. November 2024

Let me start by saying that I absolutely love photographing marriage proposals. Every time, it’s such a special honor to witness the beginning of a new family. These moments are always filled with heartfelt, tender emotions that words can hardly capture.
This story began with a couple who came to Seattle from sunny California for a vacation. The bride-to-be had no idea what was about to happen! They were just exploring new places and enjoying their trip.
The groom and I planned everything in advance: I waited for them at the ferry dock after one of their outings. When they got off the ferry, they started walking around, and I followed nearby, pretending to take pictures of the scenery. At one point, the groom approached me and asked if I could take a photo of them with their camera. Of course, I said yes and suggested taking a few shots with my camera as well—perfect for my portfolio.
And then came the big moment—the proposal! She said “yes, ” and there were tears of happiness, joy, and pure love. Swipe through the photos, and you’ll even find a video of this unforgettable moment.
